Van Driver

Location: Bradford Exempted Village School District, Bradford, Ohio

Job Title: Van Driver - Approximately 4 hours per day

Reports To: Transportation Coordinator

Qualifications: A high school diploma or training and experience that are considered equivalent, at least 21 years of age with a minimum of two years of driving experience, meets all physical, mental, and moral requirements established by federal rule, state laws, and Chapter 3301-83 of Ohio Administrative Code, be physically qualified (Rule 3301-83-07 of Ohio Administrative Code), Ohio School Van Driver’s license, possess a current valid Ohio pre-service school van driver training program certification, communicates in a courteous professional manner with students, parents, and school district personnel, a suitable dressed, neat and clean appearance, physically capable of appropriately lifting and managing special needs children when necessary, once employed are subject to the Federal Commercial Driver License Drug and alcohol laws, including random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident testing. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable. Currently this position does not qualify for health benefits

Job Description This position is for the transport of students to and from school in West Carrollton. Leave time is approximately

7am and pick up time is approximately 2pm.
